PARSONS TO LEAD SIDE

The. New Zealand University Rugby team will leave Auckland to tour Japan on December 23.

G. A. Parsons, Canterbury College, will captain the team, and * tho vicecaptain, will be 11. G. Push, Auckland University College. Parsons, who is a brilliant five-eighth, captained tho Canterbury representatives when they took the Ifcanfurly Shield from Auckland last season, and played live matches for his province during the season.

Bhsh is the most versatile player in the Dominion, as ho has represented Auckland at full-back, eentre-lhree-qnarter, and forward. He played for New Zealand in 1931, and for the New Zealand University team in 1931 and 1033.
