SPORTS ABANDONED ONLY GOLF PROCEEDING (Per Press Association.) PALMERSTON N., tiffs day. Owing to the course being waterlogged, tlio Manawatu trots have been abandoned. Heavy rain was still falling shortly before midday, and all outdoor fixtures have been abandoned except the golf tourney, in which play is proceeding.
