from animals most suited for their purposes, Tc Awa Piggeries have built up an enviable reputation among farmers of flic Gisborne, -Wairoa and Coast districts, and the demand was so large that it was necessary to make arrangements for increasing the number of pigs available for sale. Recently, an extension of interests was attained by uniting with the stud founded by Mr. W. McKinnon, who disposed of his interests. From the start, the proprietors set out to build up a model establishment, and steady progress has been going on in this respect, culminating in extensive improvements, including concreting and building new houses. This work has just been completed. The stud is now in the position to meet any demand from the Gisborne, Coast, Wairoa, and adjacent districts.
