ELECTRIC TO SUPERTAX SILVER WATCH’S OCTOBER (Per Press Association.) AUCKLAND, last night. The spring meeting of the Auckland Trotting Club opened on Saturday at Alexandra Park, and will conclude on Monday. There was a good attendance, and the course was in excellent order. War Point won the chief event, the Jellicoo Handicap, and Supertax was first home in the Electric Handicap, King’s Play scored in the Stewards’ Handicap, and Bonny Azure annexed the Parnell Handicap. During the day the sum of £15,404 was put through the totalisator, compared with £16,081 for the corresponding day last year, a decrease of £677. Details of the day's concluding events
