OUTING AT THE OVAL TEACHERS’ BUSY DAY KEENEY CONTESTED GAMES Ye-teidav's outing at tlie Oval, organised bv ‘the Poverty Bay Primary Schools Sports Association for the pupils of the various local primary schools, proved an enjoyable one for 'the children, The organising of the sports entailed a considerable amount of work for the, officials oi the association. The manner in which the programme was carried through by the teachers controlling ihe sports reflected great credit on thorn, . There were many, keenly contested events during the day. and the rival teams were heartily supported hv their school-fellows.
