When completed it- will lie the largest telescope in the world and according to astronomers will reveal stars that are lost to us to-day in the incalculable depths ol space. Ilow far will this wonderful ‘‘eye”sec? The marvellous sensitiveness of‘tho modern photographic plate ran record the beam of light from stars so far distant that they cannot be seen by the eye, even with the, aid of the most powerful telescopes. Can these two eyes of science, combined with the reasoning of the ablest minds', indicate the posb tion of heaven in God’s universe? This subject will be discussed by Mr George Dann at a united nflcr-church meeting at the Majestic Theatre on Sunday evening. The lecturer will illustrate hi* address with the aid of a large pictotia, diagram.
