OFFENCE AGAINST GIRL (Ter Press Association.) DUNEDIN, this day. Warning the. prisoner that, if he did not take care he would lie declared an habitual criminal, Mr Justice Kennedy sentenced .Wilfred- Roland Ralph Jarvie, 3(5, to ,18 months’ hard labor on a charge of an offence against a girl under the age of 16 years. The prisoner, a married man separated from his wife, had numerous convictions for theft and forgery and lesser offences.
