ONEHUNGA TO AUCKLAND THIRTEEN FACE STARTER (Per Press Association.) AUCKLAND, this day. Thirteen competitors' faced t-lio started in a “wheelbarrow Derby” started this morning from Onelninga for Auckland. There was a compulsory stop at Newmarket, and the race will be finished at a Queen streettheatre this afternoon.
Lou Brown, a well-known league footballer, upset the promoters’ calculations by covering the six- miles to Newmarket, in one hour exactly. lie jog-trotted nearly all the way.
