Tiie spectacle of two vessels stuck in the river fairway between Foxtou and the sea was to be seen on Tuesday. The m.v. Foxtan crossed the bar on Tuesday night and stuck first a short distance from the wharf. The Hnauiil came in on Wednesday and grounded twice. The trouble is due to silting up from recent freshes in tho river. The Harbor Board is considering a scheme for scarifying the bottom of the river to shift the silt bars.
