They prefer to buy them toady-made. Result: Sales in the fashion departments of stores all over Britain soared; sales in the piece goods depart meats dropped. In suburban London an improvement of more than ,'iO per cent, was shown. In all departments throughout Britain cash sales were 10.,‘! per cent, higher than in April, 1 D.'s-l.
