fancy dress ball (Herald Correspondent.) Last Friday overling all roads led to the I’atu.tahi Hall. Uie occasion being the school’s annual fancy dress ball. The function had been taken up enthusiastically l>v both children ai}d parents, with the result that accommodation was taxed to the utmost long before the commencement, of the programme. Detailed arrangements were carried out to the letter, and the clockwork precision with which many sittings of supper were dispensed, reflected great credit upon the willing band of helpers in that department. A full measure ot praise was bestowed on Mr. C. Walsh, who was responsible for the decoration of the. ballroom, which was transformed for the occasion with greenery, making an artistic setting for tho many colorful costumes of the children, iliaiiks Avere due also to Mr. A.
