About 11.30 a.m. to-day a married woman -was knocked down by a van, which was backing in Grey street. The woman sustained only minor injuries and was subsequently removed to her home. The effect of the operations ni the Metropolitan Relief Uoiiimittee’s boot repairing depot on the trade ot private boot repairers was again discussed by the committee, on Wednesday, when it was decided to close the depot from October 1.
