SOME IRREGULARITY
LONDON WOOL SALES (Received July 20, 12 noon) LONDON, July 19. At the wool sales, 10,528 bales were offered, including 4297 from New Zealand. About 6372 bales of Australian and New Zealand were sold. There was a good demand tor all finer grades at steady rates, but merinos were 5 per cent, below the highest of the series, and inferiors and faulty sorts were irregular. Alithdrawals were numerous. New Zealand sales: Scoured merinos. Glen Lyon, top price 24d, average 22Jd; greasy halfbred, Takitu, l-ld. 13Jd.
