Cush, the lessee and trainer ol Prince Pomhal, who won under 10.7 in a rare record time yesterday, lias decided that- the former New Zealander will compete in. future in Melbourne, where- lhe prize, money is more attractive. Prince Pomhal lias, not had a spell for two years. The Daily Telegraph, euimiicnling on the race, says Prince Pnmbal's record time was a remarkable performance, lie overcame more than weight difficulties. He was hurdled off at the start, and had to cover extra ground. “He raced against a strong head wind, hut possesses the heart of a lion," concludes the comment.
