MAHIA HUNT CLUB (Herald Correspondent, j The beautiful Tahamii homestead was the background for a very pretty meet of hounds at the invitation of Mr. and Mrs. Humphry Bayly on Monday. The raw morning was tempered by the hospitality of the host and hostess, and the large field present were in excellent form, as they moved off to the Tahanui flats. Mr. J. K. Stewart, deputy master, in charge of the pack, accompanied by Air. I). Wilson, huntsman, and Mr. ,t. Goldstone, whip, moved off first, and hounds were quickly on the scent, but were unsuccessful in making it kill in the forenoon, but one was made late in the afternoon. Delicious morning and afternoon team were provided by Mr. and Mrs. 11. Bayly, to wliom a. very hearty vote of thanks was passed by the members of the Mahia Hunt Club.
