NOTICE is hereby given that the Gisborne Fire Board proposes at a meeting to be held on Monday, July 29, 1935, to confirm a resolution to apply to the Local Government Loans Board for its sanction to the borrowing of a sum of £12,000 for the purposes of purchasing additional land adjacent to tho Fire Station, and to erect firemen’s dwellings thereon, and also for the reconstruction and enlargement of tho present building. The loan to bo repaid by equal halfyearly instalments spread over a period of fifteen years, such instalments to be met out of revenue, which tho Board undertakes will not increase tho amount that has been raised annually by way of levies for the past 10 years. Any person having any objection to the proposed application is called upon to submit the same in writing to the Gisborne Fire Board rot later than the day preceding tho said meeting.
