LEAVES AUCKLAND TO-DAY GISBORNE MONDAY NIGHT (Per Pros 4 Association.) AUCKLAND, last night. The Governor-General, . Viscount Galway, and Viscountess Galway will complete their..first term ot residence at Government House, Auckland, to-morrow. Their Excellencies will leave Auckland by «ir for Itotbfua, where they will stay until Monday, leaving that day. to motor to Gisborne, via Whakatane and Opotiki. They will leave Gisborne ior Napier on Wednesday, arriving there the same evening. In the course of their brief stay in Hakwe’s Bay; Lord and Lady Galway will pay an official visit to Hastings, and they will leave Napier next Friday for Palmertson North, calling at. Waipukurau and Woodville, en route. Their Excellencies will arrive in Palmerston North next. Friday evening, and the following day Lord Gahvay will officially open the new Fifzherbert bridge over the Manawatu River. Their Excellencies will leave later that day for Wellington, where they will go into residence.

Nolan:— "To Ilis Excellency tiic Right Honorable Viscount. Galway, G.C.M.G., D. 5.0., 0.8. E., Governor-General and Commander-in-Chief of the Dominion ot New Zealand and its Dependencies. "May it please Your Excellency: "On behalf of the pakehas, AJaoi’is and the children of this district ol Wairoa, Hawke’s Bay, wc desire to extend to you, and to Her Excellency. Lady Galway, our sincere appreciation of the honor you have conferred upon us by this your first visit, and trust that your stay with us, although brief, will be an enjoyable one. "As the representative of our King, George V, we would respectfully request you to convey to His Most Gracious Majesty our unswerving loyalty to the throne, and our deep gratitude for the privileges we enjoy as British subjects, in this, the farthermost post of his Empire. “May we bo allowed to join with the people from the other parts of the territory, which His Most Gracious Majesty has charged you with the administration of, in extending a sincere and warm welcome, and in expressing tlie hope that under your able guidance our Dominion will prosper, its people continue in peace and happiness under the protection of the. British flag, and when yomr task is coniplefe you will lie able to reflect with pleasure, on a happy ! time spent amongst us as our GovernorGeneral.’’ . •
