FLOODS IN CHINA 3000 PERSONS' KILLED SHANGHAI, July 11. Three thousand persons were killed when Hood waters overwhelmed the walled city of Yensze. Houses collapsed like sand castles. Neighboring villages were submerged. Hundreds of corpses are floating down the river. Fane ha mg is partially, submerged and thousands arc homeless. A third major flood disaster is feared in North China, where the Yung ting River is rising, alarmingly.
