A double rise match of seven pairs lor a trophy donated by Mr. .1. C. Whitney produced some excellent shooting. M. Pratt (Otorohanga) and 11. Quartermain (Wanganui) tied with 13 breaks and shot off. the trophy going to Pratt on Ihe first round. The next best scores were:—C. Seddon (Hamilton), 12; N. Bossad (Huntly), 12: W. ,1.
