PLEAS OF GUILTY
STOWAWAYS IN COURT (Per Press Association.) AUCKLAND, this day. Walter McCann, 37, and Edwin Hart. 31, mechanical engineers, pleaded guilty before Mr. W. R. McKean, S.M.. of stowing away on the Ruahine at Wellington on April 1. Sub-Inspector Fox said that the men were discovered a day out on the voyage to England. They worked well and were put ashore at Panama, where they were in custody for 15 days before being sent back by the steamer Cambridge, which arrived at Auckland last night. Both men were remanded for a week pending inquiries. ____
