PEOPLE WOMEN TALK ABOUT

What people does the modern woman talk about? In America, where they like to have such things down in black and white, an "expert" has just completed a "conversation test" of 10,000 women and girls from all walks of life. The result is flattering to England, for the two people American women mention most frequently in conversation are the Prince of Wales and Queen Mary. Next in order come President and Mrs, Roosevelt, and then Bernard Shaw. Also among the first 10 on the list come the film stars Joan Crawford, Greta Garbo and Clark Gable; the boxer Max Baer, and trie crooner Rudy Yallee.
