This was tiio first occasion on which the 220yds. junior thampiojiship had been competed for and it drew* a field of six starters. The j' entries in the open competitions were • disappointing to the officials and also' to the'Amateur Athletic Club, which . had gone to considerable, expense in providing a dancing floor and other ' facilities. However, national dancing I is to be included on the programme i until the conclusion of the Hack season, I 1 i'.nd it is hoped to see the entries grow. . The thanks of the club and the Dancing i | i\m\ Piping Association were expressed to Misses Maureen Keany and Flora I Johnstone for taking over the duties of judges, and to Miss P.
