LORD GALWAY'S STAFF
TWO MILITARY OFFICERS LONDON, March 2. Major Arthur F. Purvis, M.C., military secretary to Lord Galway, Governor-General-designate of New Zealand, is on his way to the Dominion, via Suez, in the Orania, accompanied by Mrs. Purvis. He is the eldest son of Mr. Herbert Purvis, of the Kukuihaele sugar plantation, Hawaii, and grandson of Mr. John Purvis, of Kinaldy, Fife. He served in France during the war, and with the British Military Mission to Armed Forces of South Russia, under Generals Denikin ami Wrnngel, 1919-1920. Mrs. Purvis is the eldest daughter of Sir Michael Nairne, Bart., of Dysart, and, Elie House, Fife. The North Staffordshire branch of the Grenadier Guards' Old Comrades' Association has given a farewell concert to their president, Lieutenant A. G. W. Hebre-Percv, who has been appointed aide-de-camp to Lord Galway in New Zealand'..
