According to advice received in Wellington, Alfred Hill's new grand opera, composed during the last three years, will be produced by Sir Benjamin Fuller's company at Melbourne. The opera, which has never yet been performed in public, will be given nn all-Australian cast. The lead will be sung by Florence Austral, and Isolde Hill, the composer's daughter, will sing in a secondary soprano role.
