Evidence Was given before the Tariff Board at Sydney in support of an application for increased duty on dental ' chairs. A witness said that, while, a G«man chair was sold at £123 10s, and an American one at £llO lis. Japanese i" chairs were landed at from £T7 3s- 3d. The Japanese price was so low, it was claimed, that no chair* produced by - *ttte~labw could compete against it.
