AVALANCHE DISASTER
MUNICH, Feb. 10. An avalanche nearly two miles in extent and one of the largest ever seen in the Austrian Tyrol to-day swept away a complete summer settlement' consisting of 13 houses, 2b outhouses, and a chapel in the Finsing Valley. Twelve square miles of forest land was destroyed.
