NEWSPAPER TO PAY £6OOO (Received March 21, 2 p.m.) LONDON, March 20. Damages amounting to i"3000 each were awarded to ex-detectives Edgar Graham and Ernest .Stunning, of the Metropolitan Police, who succeeded in a libel action against. John Bull, in which an article by an ex-convict accused them of accepting his bribes, blackmailing him, and conspiring to share his profits.
