MAIN BOROUGH ROLL THE 1935, ELECTIONS The main electoral roll of the Borough of Gisborne for the municipal elections on May 1 contains 8613 names, comprising the previous main and supplementary rolls merged into one, with the addition of new enrolments. The main roll for the 1935 elections closed on January 31, and no time was lost in getting it into the hands of the printers. It will bo certified to by the Borough Council at the meeting on March 12, and will come into force as the roll of the borough on April 1. In the meantime a supplementary roll has been opened, and this will close on April 3, thus giving ample opportunity to enrol to thoso electors who failed to have tbeir names included in the main roll.
