TERRITORIAL CAMP

(Per Press Association.) WAIPKURAU, this day. Approximately 850 territorials assembled at Waipukurau on Saturday from various provincial centres for a week's training, the infantry brigade comprising the Ist Battalion of the Wellington, West Coast, Taranaki, anti Hawke s Bay regiments, and also the 2nd Field Ambulance, dental detach, ment, and units of the Wellington and East Coast Mounted Rifles, X.Z.A.S. Corps, engineers, and artillery under Colonel W. H. Cunningham, as brigade commander. The pipe and brass band of the Wellington Regiment, and also the. Hawke’s Bay and Wellington and West Coast bands added to the brightness of the occasion. The weather is excellent.
Major-General Sir Andrew Russell will be a guest at luncheon and dinner to-morrow, and Major-General Sir William Siuclair-Burgess, the general officer commanding, will pay a visit of inspection on Wednesday.
