NORTH ISLAND CHAMPIONSHIP The North Island croquet championship tournament was continued on Friday in tine weather on the Wanganui and Gonville club’s lawns, which were in good order after tile rain the previous day. lii the women’s championship the, first round of the first life and first round of the second life are almost completed. The handicap singles have reached the fourth round in both sections, and the handicap doubles are almost to the semi-finals.

No outstanding play has yet been scon at the tournament.
