THREE RECORDS BROKEN N.S.W. CHAMPIONSHIPS SYDNEY, Jan. 6. Three records were broken at the Stato swimming championships at (lie Domain baths to-day. The outstanding achievement was (hat of the Japanese, M. Kiyokawa, who lowered the 110yds backstroke record by 4 3-ssec., winning the final by 4yds. Chief results are as follow: 100yds Backstroke Championship oi New South Wales.—M. Kiyokawa (Japan), 1.10 3-5, 1; 11. Clark, 1.12 1-5, 2; Y. Jlesomo, 1.16 1-5, 3. 220yds Championship.-—N. Ryan, 2.A) 3-5. i; 11. Hodgson, 2.24 3-5, 2: Y. Sakagnmi (.Japan). 2.26 4-5, 3. Ryan’s time equals (he Australian record. Thu Japanese, Sakagami.. was a, sick man when he competed in the 220yds event, and is now in bed with iniiuenza.
H. Tickle, the present title-holder, won. the springboard diving champion ship.
