It is estimated that woll over 1000 visitors were accommodated at the Napier camping ground between December 23 last ru'd January 3. Actually, there were ,04 parties, as against 357 during the corresponding period of last, year, but bn is yea r’s daily average works out at figure well above that of .12 months ago, owing to the fact that most of the visitors are staying for longer periods.
