A party of Wailii miners, Messrs. W. Lee, J. Slevin, L. Kirk, I. Williams, H. Dwyer, 11. Penno and S. Marshall, left for Sydney bv the Monowai on December 28 en route to New Guinea, under engagement to the New Guinea Goldfields Company, Limited'. Their destination is the Wau Wlia.re battery, which is being erected. All are experienced miners and will work by the contract system. It is probable that more will follow shortly.
