The second day ot' the annual meeting of the Stratford Racing Club, which was to have been held last Wednesday, but had to he postponed owing to heavy rain, was held on Saturday in hue weather. There was a large attendance, and the course .was in good order. Results :

The Stratford Racing Club had We worst of luck with its 1935 meeting, which opened in weather threatening for rain and closed in a deluge which drove the* patrons home as fast ns possible. The dull narrowly missed collecting an insurance policy for £SOO which had been taken out for the first day's events. Between 9.30 n.m. and 1.30 p.m. about- six points of rain was registered at the racecourse, and five points at the residence of Mr. A. W. Burwell, observer, whereas the tolat required to collect the insurance was 10 points.
