The town of Port Hope, Central Ontario, has lately been the. scene of tlireii mysterious deaths. On the evening of. October 27 Mr. Donald Wilson, 34; proprietor and editor of the Port Hope Guide, who had been in perfect health, suddenly after eating a ineni became ill and died the following morning. A postmortem examination disclosed enough arsenic, in the stomach to kill several men.
The police wore conducting an inquiry when Mr. Wilson's widow and 21 months' old baby suddenly disappeared on PridaV. Yesterday both bodies were found washed up on the shore f of Ltukc Ontario, 10 miles west of Port Ho|h\ The woman had loft a note nddroj-fced to her parents which said: "I know Don-got hold of some rat poison. I am taking baby'with me. Gossip in. this toWn has killed me, and there is nothing "for Carol Emily to'livo fori"
