DENIAL OF AGGRESSION
ITALY'S ATTITUDE ABYSSINIA'S APPEAL (Received Jan. 4, 3.30 p.m.) LONDON, Jan. 3. Abyssinia has requested the League of Nations to apply Article 11 of the Covenant permitting action directed to safeguarding peace. Italy still denies aggression.
The Secretary-General of the League has telegraphed to Abyssinia urging it to take every peaceful measure.
