Mr. and Mrs. T, Heath, Wellington spent to-day in Cdsborlie in the course of a North Island motor tour. Mrs. 0. Purvis, Palmerston North, is the guest- of hop son, Mr. ('. Purvis. Haiti. Mr. Montagu P. Robinson and his son Powell'will bo in Auekland on a holiday \isit during the next, two or three weeks. Cardinal Me Rory and Lord Milue are passengers aboard tlio Niagara, which left -Sydney for Auckland yesterday. Cable advice has been received in Sydney that Sir Charles, Kingsford Smith is returning from America to Sydney by the Monterey, arriving on January 28.
