Deaths duo to railway level-crossing accidents in New Zealand have shown nn increase this year, as compared with the previous 12 mouths, and with the exception of 1930, the number is the greatest that has been recorded since 1922. Eighteen people lost their lives, as against 16 last year and 34 in 1030. The injured, on the other hand, totalled only. 25, the smallest number for the past 13 years.
