CUPS AND TROPHIES TWO WON OUTRIGHT {tioralu Curruttpondtiiii. i The prize-money to be paid out by the Nuliaka A. and P. Society in connection with its annual Show on New Year’s Day totals £163 6s. Over 20 cups were competed for, and two were won outright. The cup and trophy awards wore:—
Wairoa - Star Cup, most points in all classes.—A. N, West, 48 points, 1; .Miss Steed, points, 2. Mr. C, IT. Tidswell’s Cup, most points in harness horse classes.—T. W. C. Tombleson, 5 points.
.Miniature Cup, most points in open horse classes. —W. Torbett, 14j points. Society’s Shield, most points in sheep classes.—G. D. Tod, points. Mr. W. Tait’s Cup, for class 22, three Romncv Marsh 2-th ewes.—G. D. Tod.
opolio Station Cup, most points in all fat sheep classes.—A. Richardson, 18 points. Won outright. Mr. It. C. Jefferson’s Cup, class 37, ewes for export.—A. Richardson. .Mr. A. Richardson’s Cup, most, points in all dairy classes.—S. Hagen, 24 points. Won outright. Mr. C. IT. Tidswell’s miniature lor runner-up.—Hedly Watt, 6 points. Mr. Norman Law’s Cup, for maiden jump.—ll. J. Johnston. Mahia Hunt Club Shield, maiden hunter gaining most points in the class. —Held over. Evans Brothers’ Star X Cup, hunters competition, also the miniature cup.— W. Torbett. Mr. H. I’omana’s Cup, and also miniature, for class 37, ewes for export. —M. R. Shaw. Mr. T. Stewart’s re-allotted cup, most points in dog classes.—C. IT. Tidswell, 10 points. Mr. P. J. Brewster’s Cup, for Maori securing most points in the flower and vegetable classes.—No award. Mrs. A. IT. IT. Unwin’s Cup, most points To cooking.—Mrs. E. I/. Brewster.
