FOUR WOMEN JURORS

(Received Jan. 3, 3 p.m.) NEW YORK, Jan. 2.

A message from Flemington, New Jersey, states that what promises to he one of the most sensational murder trials in American history opened to-day, when Bernard Hauptmann was brought before the Bar of justice. Ten jurors were selected during the day, four of whom were women. It is expected that, the, prosecution will call tho first witness to-morrow.

The newspapers, both here and abroad, are devoting much space to the proceedings.
