FLOCK HOUSE VISITED
(Per Press Association.) PALMERSTON N., last night. The-Duke of Gloucester was much at home this afternoon among the children of Wanganui, several hundred of whom packed the local theatre and gave the Prince a welcome he is unlikely lo forget. The adult reception was equally enthusiastic.
From Wanganui the Prince inot-ored to Bulls, where lie inspected the activities of Flock House and saw the trainees at work. .
The Duke’s arrival at Palmerston North an hour ahead of time found the town - practically empty. The news spread and crowds quickly gathered round the hotel where he is staying the n|ght„_ The gathering was rewarded by the sight of the Duke, who before dinner motored through the square in an open car, receiving tangible evidence that the people appreciated his thoughtfulness. The official reception will be held to-morrow.
