The Esperanto congress passed a resolution drawing the attention of the Government to the language with a view to having it taught in the schools, and to place it on the same level as a foreign language in the university curriculum. It was claimed that numerous and outstanding benefits would be achieved in all spheres from the practical use of Esperanto.
