£125,000 AIR PRIZE

CRUDE OIL PLANES

PARIS, Nov. 15.

To encourage the construction of aeroplane engines using crude oil as fuel, 1 the Air Ministry offers a prize of £125,000 to French constructors. It will go to the builder of the first motor which, running on crude oil, enables 'an aeroplane to average more than 93 m.n.h. over n closed circuit of 6240 miles.

The competition will be open until the last day of 1936.
