Entries for the annual Peace Shield tournament under ,thg auspice* of the Gisborne-East Coast • Bowling Centre at New; Year closed last evening, and judging trow tin*. strength of; the entries received ami the number ol clubs -represented the tournament should as usual prove highly interesting tp all bowlers. Play will take place on the greens of the three Gisborne clubs on January 1 and 2, and the Opotilci, Tokomnru Bay, To Karaka,’ Tanea-tua, Patutahi, Tolagn Bay, Kahutia, Poverty Bay, and Gisborne clubs will be well represented.
