An illumipated address, from Maoris living in districts from Tamaki to the North Cape, wasi presented at Rotorua to the former Minister of Native Affairs, Sir Apirana Ngata. In the address, which was preseflted by Mr L. W. Parore, reference is made to the former Native Minister’s conception of the Maori land settlement scheme and to tho successful realisation of the system. The hope is expressed that ho will be long spared to lead the native race, ana it is said that there is still much to do. . *
