A fast journey by motor-oar was made from Hamilton tn Wellington by the chairman of the Railways Board, Mr. H. H. Sterling. Mr. Sterling visited Hamilton in order to be present at the, funeral of Mr. Dynes Pulton, which left there in the morning, in the evening his presence was necessary in Wellington m connection with the depart tjire of the Royal train with the J)ukO of Gloucester for Hawke’s Bay. Ten hours were available to Mr. Sterling fop the 390-milo journey, which was successfully accomplished,
