Colonel Roscoe Turn’eV and Mr. Clyde Pangborn, two " air race' competitors, arrived by train from Melbourne. Mi 1 . Pangborn stated that they were planning to fly round the world in four days eight hours, stopping only at Moscow and Chita in Siberia. They were having a plane specially built with a range of 82C0 miles, The designer is an Italo-American named Burnelli.
