New Dress Hangers
T. JXBOUBT.EDL Y the best way to W 'keep'one’s prettiest dresses 'fresh' and unctuslied is to-veil their beauty when in the wardrobe. Shoulder cover hangers arc most useful for protecting the tops of dresses. The shoulder hanger should be padded and' coveted, with a button-up shoulder length attachment of embroidered colored linen to match. This serves to protect the top of a gown where it is likely to touch another when hung in the wardrobe.
The fashionably full skirts are responsible for a new type of “concertina’’ dress holder for ward, one use. This dress cover can be made in a clear, transparent fabric of the cellophane order, with a 3in. width of silk let in all round the cover, which allows plenty of room for frills and •furbelows, and makes it possible to protect, the fluffiest of gowns without, crushing.
Other of the new dress covers fitted to hangers can have zip fasteners at each side, a time-saving idea when hurried changes of frocks have to be made.
Linens, artistic cretonnes, and artificial silks can bo used for these wardrobe dress covers, which are easily attached to the usual padded “shoulder ”
