MAYOR’S RELIEF FUND SUNDAY NIGHT CONCERT AT KING’S THEATRE Messrs. Albert Russell and Reg Morgan, who held a successful session of “-Toy Unlimited” at the Ring’s Theatre last night, have agreed to stay over the week-end and give a concert at the King’s Theatre to-morrow evening, commencing at B.ld o’clock, in aid of the Mayor's relief fund for the assistance of those tin distress. Community singing, vocal solos and duets, and humorous stories will he features of the programme. Admits* mission will be by silver coin, and it is anticipated that the fun that these two notable entertainers are able to give to an audience will attract a large attendance. ‘ ‘ RE VUDEVILLE ” a At the Opera House on Monday. November 19. the first performance of the locally produced “Ilevudeville,” a bright and entertaining show of songs, ballets, and snappy sketches, will lie given. This enterprise is the forerunner of a series of performances, and the proceeds from the opening niglil will go towards the property fund of the company. The greater percentage of subsequent entertainments will bn devoted towards assisting the funds of sports bodies and other organisations. Dancers. are reminded of the Scottish .Society’s 'basketball dance, to bo hold in the Mangapapa Hall on Monday, November 12, at 8 p.m. Novelty dances will be featured. Mrs Aitken’s orchestra will provide the music, and a dainty supper will bo dispensed.
