DISCLOSURE BY GENERAL
LONDON, Oct. 24
The fact that Britain had a new overwhelming chemical'weapon ready foi use if the Great War had continued longer, was revealed by MajorGeneral C. 11. Foulkes in his book entitled “G. B.; the 'Story of a Special Brigade,’’ says: “The weapon known as M device, consisted of a cloud of arsenic in minute separate particles able to penetrate even the latest German gas masks at a distance of several miles. ‘The effect of the cloud was not lethal, but was calculated to disable the victims completely and would have opened, the road to our infantry without warning or loss.’’
